Why cryptographic discovery matters
Cryptography is distributed across protocols, certificates, code, dependencies, platforms and teams. Organizations cannot replace what they cannot locate, and a security score cannot substitute for evidence. Reliable cryptographic discovery is the starting point for crypto-agility and post-quantum migration.
How our discovery tool works
We prioritize deterministic discovery, source-neutral asset normalization, explicit coverage and explainable migration relevance. The first public capability focuses on cryptography observable from an authorized public TLS endpoint, including certificate and negotiated protocol evidence.
What we will not claim
An automated scan does not prove complete inventory, compliance or quantum safety. Cipher Discovery reports the evidence available within a defined scope and keeps unknown or unscanned areas visible.
